Seattle Times Cover Photo: Ingrid Backstrom

Last Sunday one of my favorite ski images I've shot ran on the cover of the Seattle Times weekend supplement as part of a story they were running on iconic skier, Ingrid Backstrom.

Really glad to see this image run on a cover… especially in a non-endemic publication like the local news.

Billboard: Stevens Pass Resort

It never gets old to see your work blown up larger than life on a billboard!!! I just came across this once last week on my drive into Seattle.  Woohoo!!!

Thanks to model/ skier Amie Engerbretson for always smiling when she skis pow :) Definitely makes the shot a lot more fun.

No snow in the mountains… no problem.  Time to get busy doing other fun work.
This is from a recent commission by Runners World Magazine for a piece they were running on cross training during the winter months.

A huge thanks to model/ athlete Ryan Klarenbach for working with me on this piece.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Seattle Skyline

One of the reasons I first got into photography was to share my vision of the world. To show people how I interpret what I see. But unfortunately, not all photos get their 15 minutes of fame. Some sit in my library and never get the attention that I wanted for them. And what good is a photo that sits in the archives and collects dust? Photos are best used when they're seen by others.

In that name, I recently started doing wallpaper give-aways. To share those photos that I love with all of you.

To download this months wallpaper, Seattle Skyline, click HERE and select the appropriate size for your screen or mobile device.

And check back next month for another new wallpaper download.

Behind the Scenes: Columbia Sportswear Shoot

A few BTS shots from a recent Columbia Rainwear shoot. Sometimes you've gotta bring the rain with you… even when you're shooting in Washington.
